More about CAMP
Home Department of the Czech Republic recognized CAMP on 6th of April 2004. CAMP has been national delegate in European Federation of Organizations for Medical Physics (EFOMP) since 1.5.2004.
The main goal of CAMP is support of radiological physicists working in medicine, support of education, research and development within the framework of medical physics, as well as progress of vocational knowledge of their members. CAMP cooperates with national and international organizations and associations.
The Czech Association of Medical Physicists is established as a voluntary civic association of physicists working in medicine, in particular radiological physicists, and physical persons or legal entities with an interest in physics in medicine and its development.
Mission and Aims
The CAMP
| Resolves and promotes the professional interests of radiological physicists | |
| Supports teaching, research and development in the sphere of physics in medicine | |
| Shares in the preparation of education, including specialisation, and examinations | |
| Participates in raising the level of the professional knowledge of its members | |
| Enables the exchange of experience and provides information to the professional and lay public | |
| Co-operates with bodies of state administration and proposes representatives to advisory bodies of state administration | |
| Co-operates with professional national and international organisations and associations | |
| Issues standpoints on professional problems connected with the provision of health care |
The CAMP is the National Member Organisation of the European Federation of Organisations for Medical Physics (EFOMP)

Management and executive body of CAMP is The Committee. The Auditing Commission, which includes three members, is control body.
